Nokomis, FL // May 3, 2015 – BioChecked™ an independent third party certifier for GMO Free certification announced today Pretzel Pete, Inc. a leading snack food producer has met or exceeded its requirements for its trusted seal of NON GENETICALLY ENGINEERED CERTIFIED™.

Pretzel Pete, Inc seasoned pretzel products have received GMO-Free Certification, becoming one of the first pretzel companies to offer GMO-Free certified products in the U.S. In order to attain the certification, Pretzel Pete was required to provide laboratory results from a nationally accredited testing facility attesting that the products are free of genetically modified organisms (GMO’s). In order to maintain the certification, the company must submit its products to regularly scheduled GMO testing to BioChecked™ on an ongoing basis.
